We are delighted to share the information about this annual Boston event that may interest you, your trainees, and your advanced practice providers. All of them would be most welcome to join this IASGO-endorsed event. The course alternates topics annually, and this year the focus will be on benign diseases.
The course features a stellar faculty. Participants will enjoy four hands-on cadaver courses, co-taught by Harvard faculty alongside global leaders in colorectal surgery. Renowned experts such as Dr. Arun Rojanasakul from Thailand (inventor of the LIFT procedure), Dr. Gabriela Moeseline from Germany (world expert on continent ileostomy procedures), Dr. Mark Soliman (robotic surgery world-renowned educator) and Dr. Stephen Goldstone (PI of the ANCHOR trial) from the USA will serve as guest workshop co-directors alongside Drs. Hiroko Kunitake, Rocco Ricciardi, Todd Francone and Grace Lee from the Mass General Brigham to offer an unforgettable hands-on experience in four parallel labs: “ Anal Fistula and Pilonidal Sinus  Cadaver workshop”, “Advanced Laparoscopic   IBD Surgery Cadaver Workshop”, “Advanced  Robotic Surgery Cadaver Workshop” and the “High-Resolution Anoscopy Hands-On Workshop”.

The symposium also features two days of live and virtual lecture sessions, showcasing updates from world-class surgeons including Dr. Joseph Nunoo-Mensah from the UK, Dr. Lucia Oliveira from Brazil, Dr. Carlo Ratto from Italy, Dr. Ayca Gultekin from Turkey, and Dr. Gonsalo Hagerman from Mexico alongside numerous national luminaries as well as our own, rich local Boston talent. These lectures, enhanced with videos and interactive content, will ensure a comprehensive learning experience, packed with dynamic case discussions and spirited debates to engage seasoned surgeons and novice learners alike. Finally, the poster competition offers an exciting chance to present your work during the meeting, with cash prizes awarded to the top three entries. Discounted rates are available for students, nurses, and participants from low-income countries.
